Fighting Chance offers opportunities for people on a Community Participation or Life Choices program through our Internship Program. Our program differs from many other day programs in that we have a highly vocational, as opposed to recreational, focus.
About the ADHC Community Participation and Life Choices Programs
Community Participation and Life Choices are government–funded pathway intended for school-leavers with a significant disability.
Community Participation funding is provided to school leavers who have recently left school. Life Choices funding is provided to older people who left school some time ago, who need support in their daily lives.
The Community Participation and Life Choices pathways allows people with a disability to engage in learning and skills development programs, participate in their community and enjoy a range of recreational and leisure activities.
If you have Community Participation or Life Choices funding and would like to spend some of your time developing your skills in a vocational setting, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on (02) 9905 0415.
