Tim Powell (Chairman)
Tim Powell is a senior businessman, who currently holds the position of Managing Director for Futurestep ANZ. Tim has previously held the positions of CEO (Southeast Asia and Pacific) for Aon Hewitt, Managing Partner (Human Performance Practice) for Accenture ANZ, COO (Asia Pacific) for KPMG Risk Advisory Service and Managing Partner (Consulting Central Europe) for Deloitte. Tim holds an MBA from the University of New England.
Laura O’Reilly is a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a BA in History (Hons, first class). She is currently studying postgraduate law at UNSW. Laura sits on the NSW Disability Council, which is the official advisor to the NSW Minister for Disability Services, and has life-long experience of disability as a sibling. Laura O’Reilly leads the Fighting Chance team in the executive position of CEO.
Jordan is an original co-founder of Fighting Chance, who exited the operational team of charity in early 2015 to focus on a new start up enterprise in the disability sector, but remains connected to Fighting Chance’s strategy and vision through the board. Jordan has a BA in Applied Science – Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney, and has won numerous awards for his innovative work in the disability sector, including Foundation for Young Australians Change Maker of the Year award 2014, and Sydney University’s Young Alumnae Achievement Award 2015.
Nicki is an experienced and motivated business woman with a background in finance. Nicki holds a Bachelor of Arts with majors in economics and politics and is particularly interested in the Australian disability sector due to her experiences with a son with cerebral palsy. Nicki is active within the disability community, as current Treasurer for the Cerebral Palsy Sports & Recreation Association NSW where she actively promotes access to sports opportunities for people with physical disabilities.
As a financial markets professional Nicki has spent the latter part of her career focussed on business sustainability, and is aligned in her thinking across her non-business related endeavours to create sustainable work and sports opportunities for those with physical disabilities.
Robert is the Managing Partner of Allan Hall Chartered Accountants a Northern Beaches-based firm currently employing in excess of 70 staff. Robert has held that position for over 25 years and has been in public practice with the firm since 1978. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from UNSW and is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Taxation Institute. He serves as a Director on the Board of numerous private companies.
