Exciting opportunities exist to participate and partner with the Tour de Chance and we would love to hear from anyone who would like to get involved.
As 2016 kicks into gear, the Fighting Chance team are excited to be commencing preparations for the Tour de Chance 2016, which will be riding from Melbourne to Sydney in November.
Our team of 24 dedicated Tour de Chance riders are taking on the most challenging route to date – 1,300 kilometres through some of Australia’s most mountainous and gruelling country, winding through the Snowy Mountains and peaking at 1098 metres above sea level.
Setting off from Melbourne on 5 November, the Tour will average 140 kilometres per day and will see the riders pass through Sale, Orbost, Bombala, Jindabyne, Queanbeyan, Nowra, and Kiama, before riding into Sydney.
Building on the success of last year’s event, which raised over $450,000 and reached an estimated 1.7 million through a PR and awareness campaign, the Tour de Chance 2016 aims to raise $500,000 and reach more Australians with our story of opportunity for people with disability.
With preparations well underway, we are now looking for partners to get involved in this exciting event:
* Are you a cycling enthusiast who would like to take on an epic challenge in 2016?
* Is your company interested in becoming a Partner of the Tour de Chance and exposing your brand to this event’s broad audience?
To get involved, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 02 9905 0415.
