On Friday 19th and Saturday 20th February, Fighting Chance will be hosting the next instalment in our NDIS information series, an NDIS Pre-Planning Workshop led by supports coordinator Pieta Manning.
The workshop will last 3 hours, and during that time Pieta will provide resources and guidance to help you to begin your pre-planning. The session will include:
- An overview of current NDIS processes
- An explanation of NDIS funded supports
- An introduction to and practice using an NDIS pre-planning tool
- Small group work with the support of trained planners to help you get started
The goal of the workshop is that participants leave with the confidence, templates and understanding of the pre-planning process to be able to develop a vision for their NDIS planning and effectively document this for their planning meeting.
Group sizes are limited to just 25, so please RSVP early to guarantee your place.

*About Pieta Manning
Pieta Manning established Your Plan Your Way in the ACT NDIS trial site to offer NDIS participants access to independent pre-planning and coordination services. The need for this became evident after working in support services and seeing the conflict of interest that can occur when service providers are able to influence the services people access. Your Plan Your Way works with each individual to help them explore their vision and goals.
